The First Dog of USA: Bo
The Obamas have settled on a first pet – a 6-month-old Portuguese water dog that the Obama girls are naming Bo (see photo), AP reported. The black and white dog, a gift from Senator Edward Kennedy of Massachusetts, will make his big debut Tuesday afternoon. The Obamas opted for a Portuguese water dog because their eldest daughter Malia has allergies and the breed has hair it does not shed.
